Evening Standard reports on Clue sell out

10th September 2013

Apologies to those who weren’t able to get hold of tickets for the recording at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane due to huge demand. As the Evening Standard reported, tickets sold out within five minutes of going on sale:

“Not quite up there with Paul McCartney, who sold out 23,000 tickets for an O2 Arena concert in one second. Or even the Spice Girls comeback concert at the same venue, which allegedly sold out in 38 seconds. But not bad for a bunch of superannuated, sedentary and clueless comedians. Take a bow Barry Cryer, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graham Garden and Jack Dee.” (Evening Standard, 03.10.13)
